Target audience

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation doctors, Plastic-, Hand- as well as Orthopaedic surgeons, Orthopaedists, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists and other allied health professionals with an interest in the hand.

 

Certificate

A certificate of attendance, making reference to UESM accreditation, will be issued to all participants

 

Workshops

Since there is a limit to the number of participants it is important to reserve your place on the registration form. The titles of the workshop are as follows:

1. Physical examination of the hand          

2. Splinting    

3.  Patient demonstrations

Fee: Euro 40 per workshop

The official language of the Course is English

 

Airport Information
The Diamond of Bodrum hotel is about 45 kilometres from the international airport Milas/Bodrum. The national carrier Turkish Airlines (THY) flies from most European airports to Istanbul with connecting flights to Bodrum. Moreover, there are charterflights from many European airports to Bodrum. Furtermore, there are Turkish national charters operating between Istanbul and Bodrum. Other nearby airports are Ýzmir and Dalaman. Transfers to and from Bodrum airport can be arranged at € 70 per person, prices for other airports can be requested from the secretariat.

 

Climate
October in Bodrum is typically pleasant with temperatures from an average daytime high of 22 degrees Celsius to an overnight low of 14 degrees Celsius. Generally, there is a 90% probability of sun and 10% probability of rain.

Visa
Please check with your travel agent whether you require an entry visa to Turkey. Most visitor visas are obtainable for a fee on arrival at the airport, but it is advisable to check in sufficient time before departure.

 

Letter of Invitation
Upon request the Secretariat will send a personal invitation to participate.
This invitation is meant only to assist participants to raise travel funds or to obtain a visa and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support. Applications for invitation letters must be received at least 30 days prior to the Meeting.

From 2 days prior to arrival – 1 night cancellation charge

In the event of non-arrival, the hotel will automatically release the reservation and the payment will be non-refundable.

Refunds will be as follows:

 

Until and including August 15, 2007 – full refund less handling charge of Euro 25

From August 15, 2007 – 50% refund

 

No refund on cancellations after September 30, 2007
